In the Jardin de Tuileries in the heart of Paris lies the Musée de l’Orangerie, a gallery that has been entirely renovated to make the most of its natural light, in which visitors can now admire the full Water Lilies (Nymphéas in French) series by Claude Monet, as well as all 146 pieces of the Walter-Guillaume collection (works by Renoir, Cézanne, Modigliani, Matisse, Picasso, Derain, Soutine, etc.).
As of 4 September 2019, the Musée de l’Orangerie will be undertaking renovation works in the galleries presenting the Walter-Guillaume collection. These works will continue up until 31 March 2020. During this period, only the Claude Monet Water Lilies galleries, the temporary exhibition Felix Fénéon (1861-1944). The modern times, from Seurat to Matisse (16 October 2019 – 27 January 2020) and the contemporary counterpoint Tosani. Reflection and transfixion will be open to visitors.

The Musée de l’Orangerie ticket is included in the Paris Region Pass - Experience.
- Valid every day except Tuesdays, from 9:00 to 18:00.
Tickets and rates
This ticket grants entry to Claude Monet Water Lilies galleries and to the current temporary exhibition.
Free admission: under 18s, EU nationals aged 18-25, history of art students, holders of a ‘Pass Education’, disabled persons and jobseekers (proof of eligibility required).
Entry to the museum is free on the first Sunday of every month.
