Description

Founded by a former stockbroker turned Parisian history detective, the
Paris Charms & Secrets agency shows you Paris in an entirely original way. On an electric bicycle to start, so everyone can easily keep up throughout the four-hour excursion. Next, you’ll visit the city’s charming, out-of-the-ordinary gems. You’ll stop at famous monuments, but also hidden places unknown even to many Parisians. Finally, you’ll get a deeper sense of what makes the city’s heart beat, thanks to the surprising, and vivid anecdotes collected by the agency’s founder; the fruit of four years of painstaking research.

Secret places and remarkable stories

At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, you’ll learn about the dubious link between Al Capone and the Iron Lady; Quasimodo himself will tell you his story at Notre-Dame, and in front of the Louvre, you’ll hear all about the enormous scandal a famous novelist sparked right at that very spot.

Next, discover the city’s “secret places”, such as little-known theatres from the past, tucked-away patches of greenery, and private properties that are windows into the unexpected sides of the capital. Paris Charms & Secrets partners with Vedettes de Paris to also offer a combined boat-bike tour, including an hour-long cruise. For a romantic treat, choose the night tour, ideal for basking in the luminous, magical side of the City of Light.
