Description

The Galeries Lafayette on the most beautiful avenue in the world

The brand made a huge impact by opening the largest store on the avenue to date, spanning some 5,600m2. Granted, that pales in comparison to the 70,000 m2 of its flagship Boulevard Haussmann store, but the goal was to offer shoppers a new, more intimate, bespoke experience.

An army of personal stylists, specially trained in collaboration with the Institut Français de la Mode, are on hand to welcome customers and, if they so wish, help them find the perfect look!

The store boasts a superb selection of brands, encompassing big names, small labels, emerging designers and exclusive capsule collections such as Rouje, Balenciaga, Loewe, Gucci, Maison Rabih Kayrouz, Rosie Assoulin, Moncler as well as a selection of exceptional fragrances and skincare products promoting "glow".

The layout of this monumental Art Déco building from 1932 is also out of the ordinary. Designed by Danish agency BIG (founded by architect Bjarke Ingels, the man behind Google’s head office in Silicon Valley and the Noma restaurant in Copenhagen), it is an immersive space where a shopping expedition fast turns into an journey of artistic discovery…

And after the session, there's nothing like a break at the Food Court on the -1, where 10 artisans, like Pierre Marcolini and Alain Ducasse, liven up the space for a convivial gastronomic moment.
A complete reinvention of the department store concept!

The Parisian department stores, an unmissable shopping experience!
