Fête de l'Humanité
The Fête de l’Humanité, which has been running since 1930, is a real institution. It’s a festival where you can eat food from all around the world, discuss social issues and – above all else – cheer one headliner after another on all the different stages. For almost 90 years, the biggest names in French and international music have been setting the main stage on fire: from Léo Ferré, Jean Ferrat, Jacques Higelin, Iggy Pop, Fela and Stevie Wonder to more recent appearances from Franz Ferdinand and Suprême NTM, there are gigs on offer for all ages and musical persuasions!
Don’t miss the 2019 event taking place on Friday 13, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 September, where the programme includes music from Marc Lavoine, Shaka Ponk and Eddy de Pretto, exhibitions, a book village, a social discussion forum, a sports village and much more… Put simply, if you’re looking for a friendly festival celebrating humanity, solidarity and community, then this is it!
