Exhibition outdoors: "Epopées Mansonniennes" by C215
Take advantage of the fine weather to discover the new urban route of the stencil artist C215.
On the occasion of the 7th edition of the festival " Totalement DésARçonnés ", the Centre des Monuments Nationaux and the city of Maisons have invited the street-artist to take over the streets and the park. All along the route, which is entirely open-air and accessible to all, he has scattered painted portraits of historical or famous people with a link to Maisons-Laffitte. As you stroll along, you will discover Louis XIII and Louis XIV, Anne of Austria, Napoleon, Jean Lannes, Joseph Oller, Jules Vallès, Olympe Audouard and Jean Cocteau and Jean Gabin.
22 different locations and an unusual encounter between contemporary art and history that you can enjoy throughout 2021! The artworks must remain in place in the city until they naturally fade away.
The map showing the location of the works is available at the Tourist Office and can also be downloaded from the website of the château de Maisons.
