Description

When dressmaker and designer Vanessa Doger founded Babel in 2012, she had just one ambition: "to create a living, breathing space for people to come together in a spirit of Bohemia, craziness and boundless creativity"!

French creation in the spotlight

Her concept-store strays willingly from the beaten track, through a selection as abundant as it is original. She gives pride of place to young French designers, particularly when it comes to promoting ethical, environmentally friendly production methods. Vases of all shapes and sizes, barber’s or witch’s mirrors, retro globes, butterflies and insects embalmed in glass, dreamcatchers, sculpted candles, etc.: you’ll find one thousand and one decoration ideas here!
And the choice is equally wide when it comes to the hand-picked selection of artisanal jewellery, backpacks, leather goods and clothes, ranging from trendy labels (Faguo, Mademoiselle Shade, Minoï, My Kilim Shop, Disque, etc.) to vintage pieces (Valentino, Vanessa Bruno, Yves Saint Laurent, to name but a few). A few designs also bear the Babel label, as Vanessa Doger has now developed her own line, perfectly in keeping with the bohemian spirit of this place!
